In 2021, the boom of the COVID-19 pandemic made many companies need to leave their comfort zone and reinvent themselves to remain competitive.
In the face of the challenges to migrate for the digital and the increasingly fierce competition, where companies from all over the world offer the same product or service a click away, stays ahead companies that can overcome such troubles and that transform customer problems and needs into simple, fast and effective solutions.
To analyze the companies that were able to growth even after one year of pandemic, the EXAME launched the EXAME Business in Expansion Ranking 2022, with emphasis on DNK Infotelecom, that appears in the 68th position in the category “from R$5 million to 30 million”
EXAME Business in Expansion Ranking 2022
The EXAME Business in Expansion Ranking 2022 is a project developed by EXAME together with BTG Pactual that counts with the technical support of PwC Brazil. Its main objective is to promote visibility and highlight the growth of Brazilian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
According to the EXAME, the ranking can be described as “a yearbook of the businesses that had the greatest expansion in sales and conquered more markets in the 12 months of 2021”.
On its inaugural edition, the EXAME Business in Expansion Ranking 2022 represents a promotion initiative for the national entrepreneurial scenario that is warmer than ever, even with the untypical scenario of the pandemic.
Who can apply?
The registration for the ranking – ended in May 6, 2022 – were free and economic groups or private companies based in Brazil or that presented annual net income between 2 million and 300 million reais could apply.
When filling the registration form, it was necessary that companies send, in addition to the registration, their financial statements of 2021.
In the case of companies with multiple branches, franchise networks, credit cooperatives or state and national health insurers, they had to present their results in a consolidated way.
How does the evaluation work?
With the financial statements validated and compiled, the evaluator commission, composed by members from the EXAME, BTG Pactual and PwC, makes the analysis and classification of enterprises in categories.
The process is made according to the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE, in Portuguese) from IBGE.
The selected winners are the companies or economic groups that presented the highest annual net revenue growth between 2021 and 2020 in their respective categories.
The list of the official winners is published in a special edition of the EXAME magazine.
Companies with focus in technology and digital stand out in the EXAME Business in Expansion Ranking 2022
75 companies entered the EXAME Business in Expansion Ranking 2022, which grew from R$5 to R$30 million during the last two years.
Although the ranking encompasses companies from different segments, what draws attention is the fact that a great part of the finalists (36) is focused in digital services, media (telecommunications) and technology.
According to experts, the interest for digital at a time of social activities restricted by the pandemic can be explained by the aversion to physical contact.
“We need to understand that customers look for convenience and practicality. In the pandemic, this facility allowed by the digital, made us to get used to performing basic tasks through our cell phones, without the need of physical contact. Nowadays, thinking about physical contact in an increasingly digital era generates discomfort and even aversion”, explains DNK Infotelecom’s CEO, Ântimo Gentile.
The company, which offers smart solutions for call centers and contact centers with focus on performance and CX, reached the 68th position in the EXAME ranking.
